Walking home from the grocery store, I saw a mother and her two children wearing those horrendously ugly croc shoes, and I found myself wondering where the term crock of shit originated. So I started searching.
The Urban Dictionary had this fantastic definition:
More politely known as “a pile of poo”, the term “a crock of shit” [...]
